The energy finds its way out as the marks come on canvas or paper. The color defines the intensity of the emotions, and the medium brings the subject to life. All paintings and drawings are self-portraits and reflections of the experiences lived. My art is born when it is impossible to bear witness to the beauty of the natural world or the horror of human violence and aggression. When the tension is at its highest, my art practice helps me digest the human experience, being the witness to utopia and dystopia, the clash of ideas, and the interconnectedness of everything.
